Designing and fabricating a flaps position sensor hardpoint. This will be used with the OnSpeed system for accurate computation of flight energy conditions.
The sensor is a tight fit, and must be located clear of the flap cables. The 4-40 tapped hole locations are also important, so the screw tails don't interfere with the position sensor or flap cables. The sensor is mounted off center so that the slider arm is better aligned with the actuator arm and clears the cables.
